Cutting Board Care: How to Clean and Condition Your Bluwood Board
Routine care keeps your Bluwood board looking beautiful and lasting longer. Follow these steps:
- After use, wash with warm water and mild, unscented soap. Rinse and pat dry.
- Avoid soaking or placing the board in the dishwasher.
- Dry the board standing on edge with airflow on both sides until completely dry.
- Condition the wood every 1–3 months, or more often with frequent use, using a food-safe board conditioner or mineral oil according to product directions.
- Keep the board away from extreme heat, prolonged moisture, and direct sunlight to help prevent cracking or warping.
If your board has been heavily used or looks dry, reseal it with a thin coat of conditioner and let it absorb fully before use.
Returns policy and order concerns
Review your delivery promptly and keep the original packaging while any return or concern is reviewed. If an item arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from the confirmed order, contact Bluwood with your order number and clear photos so the issue can be evaluated.
